My name is Mindy Wood, and welcome! 

 

I am a freelance photographer in Kalamazoo, Michigan and photography is my art. I take anything from, portraits to events, families to newborns, abstract work to engagements. 

 

I am a mother to a beautiful daughter, Harper, and a wife to a very handsome husband, James. My family means absolutely everything to me and with the support of them, God, and my family, I have been able to pursue after a career that I enjoy and love.

 

I started out my career path as a nursing major at Notre Dame College, and after one photography class that I took for fun, I changed my major to Graphic Design with a focus in photography. 

 

I love to create and capture a moment in someones life that they can keep and enjoy for the rest of their lives. Photography is more than just taking some photos, doing some edits, and handing my client the work done. It's a relationship that I can build with someone that I may or may not know and create pieces of artwork that can be appreciated and favored forever. They are memories full of life, love, beauty and excitement.
